Senior options- forms and applications
What are Senior options?
As indicated in the Educational Planning Guide, seniors are able to explore options that include: Internship, Independent Study, and Work Study. They may also choose the option of Dual Enrollment, which is detailed in a separate section of this website. For each option, STUDENTS MUST KNOW THE REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING. Please make sure that you have all appropriate information and paperwork before applying or else you will need to go back to the form and re-enter information all over again. As always, your school counselors are eager to help you through this process.
INTERNSHIP
Before completing the application for internship, please be sure that you are prepared to enter all required information- You will need information from your supervisor and about the location where you are interning. You will also be responsible for submitting clearances for out-of-district placements through an email or by dropping them off. AND, you will need to UPLOAD Parent Permission. It might be helpful to explore the application before preparing to submit.

INDEPENDENT STUDY
Independent Study provides the opportunity for students who have excelled in the available curriculum to pursue their needs in a classroom setting above and beyond what is offered in a formal setting. Independent Studies are pass/fail for credit. Grades will not be used to calculate rank, GPA or honor roll.

WORK STUDY
Before you begin completing this form, make sure that you are prepared to upload the "Employment Verification Form WITH Parent Signature". You will not be able to submit this application without it. Students do not receive credit for Work Study, and it is typically in Semester 2.
