Room 103
The career room offers a wide variety of tools available to help students explore their own careers. Room 103 houses important forms for students that include Work-Study, Internships, etc. In the Fall semester, we offer opportunities for different colleges to come and speak to students. These are great experiences that allow students the chance to work face to face with admissions representatives.
Ms. Sandberg is excited to serve as Solanco's College and Career Adviser for the '21-'22 and '22-'23 school years! She has a bachelor's degree from Susquehanna University and a master's degree from UMass Lowell. In her free time, you'll find her reading, playing ukulele, knitting hats, or playing with her two dogs. |

College Representatives at the high school
Throughout the Fall, college representatives will visit the Career Room in established information seminars where students can receive information from Admissions Officers. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about various colleges and ask questions in an environment with a limited audience. Students should sign up in the career room. A list of representatives is available on the guidance page in Schoology.
